This six-week advanced intensive is for students who wish to explore using mixed media with their work.
Prerequisite: Mixed Up Media with Michael Foley or permission of the instructor.
What is Advanced Mixed Up Media?
Start or continue on a project that involves photography as a starting point. Add a variety of media that supports your intentions and concepts behind the project
Students continue to explore ways to alter their own work, combine media, draw, paint, crumple, collage, burn, stitch, and a whole host of tools and materials they can use to work their images.
Students develop and share their own transformed work in a critique-style setting.
